Air

Air pollutant emissions can come from a variety of sources and are highly regulated by the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP). The most common sources are from combustion of fuel from vehicles, generators, furnaces and boilers. Certain activities require air emissions permits or are otherwise regulated and controlled. Please contact Environmental Health and Safety prior to purchasing or installing any equipment that could be a potential source of air pollution.
