Demolition work has the potential to create many unsafe conditions and also violate local, state and federal regulations. These problems can range from the unlawful release of asbestos to the inappropriate disposal of hazardous materials left behind. An assessment of all potentially hazardous and/or regulated materials must be made prior to any demolition work. In addition, areas formerly used as laboratories and other occupancies with hazardous materials must be evaluated, tested and cleared. Please ensure that EHS is consulted in advance.
