Please plan for your controlled substance needs during and after the Yale holiday recess. To assist with your planning, please be aware of the following:
- Yale EHS will be closed for the holiday recess from Tuesday, December 23rd, 2025 at 5:00 pm through Friday, January 2nd, 2026 at 8:30 am.
- The order deadline for controlled substances in Workday will be Monday, December 15th, 2025.
- Workday order approvals will not be issued by EHS during the winter recess. EHS will resume review and approval of controlled substance orders on Friday, January 2nd, 2026.

EHS Emergencies
EHS staff are on call during the recess for hazardous material related emergencies.
In case of an emergency during the recess period, please call the EHS emergency line at 203-785-3555.
