Laboratory safety depends on every employee’s participation, cooperation and commitment to do their job in a way that is safe for them and their co-workers. All individuals working with or around chemicals in Yale laboratories will need Laboratory Chemical Safety-Web-Based (SRPR-EHS-011) and, depending upon the presence or use of other materials, may also need Bloodborne Pathogens for Lab Employees (PRG-SRPR-EHS-011), Bloodborne Pathogens for Clinical Employees (PRG-SRPR-EHS-024), Biosafety Program (PRG-SRPR-EHS-003), Radiation Safety for Unsealed Sources Program (PRG-SRPR-EHS-010) or other specialized training.
