Mandatory training for personnel in clinical setting with potential exposure to TB positive patients.

Learning Objectives: This training outlines standard precautions required for the protection of employees in health care setting, with particular emphasis on the prevention of airborne and bloodborne diseases.

Audience: Tuberculosis Awareness Training is required for employees working in a clinical setting with patient exposure. Employees must also complete Bloodborne Pathogen and Infection Control training. (Infection Control training may be provided by the host employer.) Please note: The following course is intended for non-Yale University employees (i.e., MPM – Medical Practice Management). Any Yale University affiliate with an active CAS username and password, should sign-into Workday Learning to receive credit for completing any required training courses and programs.

Next Steps: Following completion of this training, please complete the appropriate quiz. The quiz will be provided to you by your proctor.
