The Environmental Affairs Section manages programs in air and water discharge quality, obtains necessary permits and conducts testing, record-keeping and calculations to maintain compliance. Other responsibilities include managing the University’s underground storage tank and PCB-containing equipment program, maintaining a hazardous material inventory for community and regulatory notifications and assisting in site evaluations and remediation efforts.
